About Jim Rodenbeck
Jim Rodenbeck Picture
Born in 1967, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior in 1979—rededicating my life to Him in 1999, after a twelve-year period as an agnostic. My home church is The Church at Mt. Gilead, an Independent Christian Church near Indianapolis, Indiana.
A musician/teacher, I graduated from Mooresville High School and received a BM in Music Education from Butler University. I am the Principal Trombone of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Lead Trombonist with the Starry Knights (a 17-piece, Glenn Miller-style big band), and the owner of the Basement Brass Quintet. I am also the band assistant at Custer Baker Middle School and teach privately out of a studio at Musician's Repair and Sales.
