These personal accounts share the peace that comes from accepting a relationship with Jesus Christ on His terms. Such peace can only be found when Jesus is allowed to reign supreme in a person’s life. Such peace is lost when a person replaces Jesus’ Lordship with:

• addictions (i.e. alcohol, drugs, pornography);
• thoughtless routine (i.e. participating in religious activities merely out of habit rather than due to a genuine love and respect for Christ);
• self righteousness (i.e. “I doubt God’s existence because He didn’t answer my prayer the way I demanded.”).
• self rule (i.e. an “I’m not going to let any one tell me what to do” attitude).

God is always faithful. He will never leave nor forsake His people. God directs the lives of those who wholeheartedly entrust their lives to Jesus.
